The Optimizer
Last updated: 10 days agoThis algo Optimizers between Minotaur 1 and Optimus 1. It chooses between the 2 algorithms according to the recent performance of each algo using our optimization strategy. Over the long term, it supposed to outperform both algos and reduce drawdowns. Open and close signals can happen at 9:40 am or 10:30 am eastern according to which algorithm is chosen by the Optimizer.

Minotaur Optimus 1
Last updated: 3 days agoMinotaur Optimus 1 uses walkforward optimization and stock price snapshots from the recent past to calculate a proprietary performance metric for each stock. Low metric values indicate undervalued stocks, while high metric values indicate overvalued stocks.
Minotaur Optimus 1 uses walkforward optimization and stock price snapshots from the recent past to calculate a proprietary performance metric for each stock. Low metric values indicate undervalued stocks, while high metric values indicate overvalued stocks.
Each day, the algorithm calculates these scores over different time periods. It then sorts the scores based on an adaptive trading strategy. It chooses this strategy by looking at the underlying market conditions, then emphasizing either a mean return or a momentumbased approach. Once the stocks are sorted, the algorithm chooses the stock most likely to gain value.
The signal is produced at ~9:40 AM EST.

MARS
Last updated: 3 days agoMARS improves on OPTI 2 by adding a more robust and simpler sorting. OPTI 2 is a more flexible algo because it has the ability to pick mean returning or trend following assets. Our Simple Sorting algo focuses on a mean return strategy and while it has smaller gains on average than OPTI 2 it is more consistent. MARS combines the best of these 2 algorithms to obtain better results than the 2 algos by themselves.

The introductory Quantonomy algorithm.
This algorithm keeps track of several NASDAQ 100 stocks. Each day, it uses a proprietary metric to calculate each stock's performance over the past few days. Then it chooses the worstperforming stock to purchase.
The reasoning for this is as follows: given the selected stocks are relatively strong, if they perform poorly and are undersold, they should soon perform well again, matching or exceeding the group's mean return. This concept is called mean returning, and is one of the most scientifically proven concepts in finance.
Usage is straightforward: sell your currentlyheld stock, then buy the one stock indicated by the "to open" signal.
The signal comes in at ~10:30 EST.

The flagship Quantonomy algorithm, which picks three optimal stocks from the NASDAQ 100 list for you to trade short or long.
It uses cuttingedge, proprietary metrics to rank the stocks based on likelihood to rapidly change in price, learning over time to improve picks based on current market trends.
The three stock picks happen daily at ~10:30 AM. Our performance curve is based on trading all three in equal proportions.
